last week of march recap

yknow the most ironic thing? i was actually really just getting drowned in work until sunday came and i just slacked off ystd and today but BIG PACE FOR THE NEXT WEEK BCUZ I HAVE 5 THINGS DUE IN LIKE 11 DAYS RAHHH

here's the past week's recap, where the week was ultra busy (which is a good thing?): 

monday: went back to school to study w the horsemen. but i completely forgot that the law study rooms r fking cold, and i didnt bring a jacket. and i was also so distracted by youtube LOL i did work like only half the time (and after dinner i did stay back but it was to watch youtube...). okay but good company good yap and good frens yay much loves hehexd

tuesday: the group leader for my sustainability project told me that she actly scolded this international student who has been in smu for 4 years btw for like not helping the exchange student (!!) do work. so the exchange student just did the stuff herself. LOL. fking funny. and this guy just chat gpt'ed the environmental analysis for the things we asked him to do...fk lah i shld have rly seen this coming and did some work beforehand bcuz now i really have to juggle this plus my part plus two other projects and on individual assignment which i have to complete by sunday so i can focus on my other individual assignment after that...fuckkkkkkkKKKK i am cooked man i need 2 coffees a day. 

okay but also helped chloe for her final year project LOL impromptu bday gift? got a free nail polish session with her (and one of her frens) and this is when i learned that nail polish suckssss gel rocks more (but also i mean at least this gives them more feedback bruh imagine the polish is alr good HAHAHA i think its worse for them). anyways then i went home after doing some more work in school and my mom saw the nails and derided me for doing them then instead of like the day after (bcuz i had to collect some legal docs on wednesday) and she is afraid of the perception of me? or her? idk. AHAHAH but yea she didn't talk to me for like 1.5 days after....

wednesday: so i went to this wings of time thinggy w elgin and abby (the operational minions) and it was actly kinda cool? we all didnt expect it to be like that crowded but it did reinforce the idea that sgreans would do anything if things are offered at a 99% discount (like the tix were originally 20-ish bux but now it was SIXTY CENTS becuz of sg60). amazing leh...the pyrotechnics and the water sprays were pretty nice (and the spray was also cooling LOL it was kinda humid). also had some good mala for dinner yay (but ofc had morning shits the next day)

thursday: had some time going around the singapore maritime week (and also interacted with some people and seeing a lot of different maritime related stuff...sg poly literally had an entire set up there). forgot to take some pics (oops) but saw a wide variety of ppl...and also realised some ppl rly can be good storyteller bcuz they yap well (and not yap pointless stuff). anyways then night class was this french prof teaching supply chain again and he got another guest speaker who was like the head of procurement or smth for astrazeneca but i think my main takeaway from that is u can job hop to big roles even if the role is not related or scarcely related to ur prev experience(s)

friday: lmao this is damn funny so i was supposed to go for co after softball...but i only went for softball bcuz i was fking hungry (and i think theres like this four of us now where we alw go dinner aft prac and spill tea) but yea i had to go back to school bcuz i did not want to lug my laptop to prac in jurong (i swear the bag was fking heavy). also got the student assoc welfare so YAY (and also my reaction skills r p decent lah if i must say...28/30 on whackamole only bcuz my hand blocked one mole and i didnt see it and the other one i j gave up cuz only perfect score can get special prize HAHAH)

saturday: so actually went for co prac this time....abit nervous ngl bcuz i feel like there will be some area i cock up during the busking but ig any chord can be an 'acceptable chord' in modern music lah...jazz and ur diminished 9ths or minor 11ths or suspended 4th/6ths horh. then went to watch the imagine dragons movie thing (that was in imax...and that was when i realised it was like 8k hd cuz the resolution was SO FINE) with reese and it was really good ngl (some things u see in the sg show too but as with any good artist there will be variations from show to show). and of course when they have the damn la film orchestra up there as a backing orchestra instrumentation its brilliant (cant rmb how many times dan reynolds gave a shoutout to the conductor and the orchestra LOL i think it was at least 5 times)

sunday: went to church (no im not kidding) with joy bcuz i hadnt seen her in a long time...and she just happened to reply my message after 14 months (hilarious stuff). then ate lunch with her cell group (quite a decent bunch of peo..working adults HAHAHAHAAH) wtf i was the only student there sia omdaysssSSSS. was supposed to go back and do work after but i slept on watched youtube, which leads to...

monday: more sleep. and more youtube. and now ive done some work but its barely anything so BYEEEE IMMA LOCK TF IN

also if anyone is wondering what my april fools joke is, just think unbuttoned button up short sleeve with singlet underneath, in beach sport shorts (i was not bringing out my short beach shorts to school thats a bit too much), red socks, yellow shoes, and maybe a pink hat. maybe.

in no particular order:  recre bball : i went once and never again. in my defence right, it was on tuesdays. on three tuesdays my corp sust product group wanted to have interviews with retailers, on one week mpsh was closed, and on one week it was cny. so i was only able to go once but skipped that one bcuz i was frankly a bit lazy AHAHHA. but the people there rly q competitive ngl...they all got exp and i was rly reminded of how unfit i was and how long i hadn't played basketball softball : wah the membership this sem drop A LOT SIA like 40%...idk why but lowk i think is cuz a lot of ppl grad and the open training was damn late? and also the payment felt later this year...idk ngl was also abit angst cuz trainings were only like once a week on average now instead of twice a week...but ig circumstances made it hard for that exco to have two trainings. ig its hard to accept but its smth that u have to swallow bcuz there isnt much alternative? i mean not that i blame the exco...its ju...

oops sorry stopped for two days because...i got really tired and had 4am football into a full day out with mala at night into today so...pardon the tardiness OKAY SO THURSDAY i think it was actly a p decent day started watching more league (again LOL) and also started to get back a BIT more into projects and work...i think there comes a point where i kinda have to start going to school to stay in the library tho...like i think with 1 case, 3 projects and 2 individual papers to complete over the next month i REALLY got to lock tf in so LIVE LAUGH LOVE (if i sound deranged i promise it isnt me im just hyping myself (and you! if u r reading) up to survive hell week wherever u may be reading from night class was kinda interesting so my prof (the french one who loves wine connection) had a guest speaker over to talk about warehousing and storage/transportation (essentially the focal point between middle mile and last mile) and wtf there's only roughly 5-10% of things in warehouses that...

bcuz this is so damn unhealthy grrr.... Q58: if I were told I only had 5 months to live, what would I do?  this is the kinda question u ask when u watch those emo movies like 'the fault in our stars'. and of course me being me i've dabbled in these thoughts before bcos u nvr know how things can change in the blink of an eye, at the snap of a couple fingers.  so i guess here they are:  1) go to old trafford (and allianz arena and/or signal iduna park on an actual matchday) 2) see the norway fjords 3) climb a mountain more than 1km tall 4) go to machu picchu 5) go see new zealand and australia 6) (if i haven't been to japan then) go to japan hopefully i can see the sakura 7) write letters to all my close friends 8) yknow the meme where they say "if i win the lottery, i won't say that i did it but there will be signs"? same for this i won't publicly say it but i'll be like matthew perry was and have all these cryptic messages that make it seem like so...
