tis the damn season, write this down

week of 8th december - i think that the part i was most looking forward to after finals was just not having that stress and going to school? i mean i WAS still pissed at osl because of whatever happened in chinese orchestra, but being able to just freely choose when to meet people, when to game, when to watch my shows, when to turn on the sports streams (that may or may not be legal) are very fundamental choices that really felt liberated once finals ended. and so i was just watching arcane and omg i swear the artwork is so good. also i love vi x caitlyn like one they are both pretty in their own ways and two they are so badass. gotta feel bad for heimerdinger tho... (not gonna say more in case i spoil)

anyways on friday i went back to malaysia! also curated like a special playlist for the roadtrip back because i was not gonna settle listening to mid songs and/or my dad's playlist so i just mixed everything i thought was good (https://open.spotify.com/playlist/3b7r21C3CV0MqyDQoNIXpj?si=344f908281664530) and it would have lasted practically the entire roundtrip so it was more than sufficient :') then on saturday i had a lunch with some of my extended fam and...oh boy.

first, i have this 30yo cousin that is hyper-introverted. like i swear she is agoraphobic (fear of socialising/being in public spaces) and she was so quiet the entire time (and has been for the longest time). second, my uncle (my mom's youngest brother) is still a yapper always yapping about his wives (yes, u read that right) and how he wants to travel around the world to exotic places (like colombia YES U READ THAT RIGHT TOO its not cambodia). and he wanted his agoraphobic daughter to drive his car back because he was going to some convention (which idek why he doesn't just drive the car there himself lmao) but his daughter literally can only drive from fixed point A to fixed point B (example, her house to her mom's house) so if you were to change point B from her mom's house to some other location (which includes her father's house) then she will be confused (according to her sister). welp apparently this uncle has always been a prick and has always been selfish (so was his then-wife).

and lastly, i learned my mom has 6 siblings (or rather, had because 2 died and 1 was when she wasn't even born yet so i alw thought she only had 5).

week of 15th december - you know the funny thing about results coming closer to being released is that everyone, no matter how much they deny it, inevitably gets stressed about it. or gets more stressed. and that was what i felt as exam results got closer to being released. i would always check my grades when in msia until friday. sometimes every hour, sometimes every minute. even when i met with jon in msia because i found out his grandma's house was 2km from my aunt's, i was still checking my grades LOL. also man tfw u realise even the chagee in msia is btr than sg...i swear the only thing i havent found in msia (in terms of food) btr than sg is the chicken rice. i swear sg still rules in that but everything else u find in sg u can find a better version SOMEWHERE in msia. hands down.

had a little bit of shopping therapy too, got my lil beach shirt and also another orange tee that only cost like 80 sgd in total (and please omg the beachwear is frickin comfortable to wear). ate plenty of other good food too - horfun, hokkien noodles, zhichar...u name it i probably ate it. i think the best was when we went to petaling street on thursday. literally had a bowl of laksa, fishball noodles and about another half a portion of hokkien noodles and horfun combined. also got like a bottle of soybean cincau and there was the option for a huge ass bottle for 11 ringgit (that is really big like almost a litre...)

then came friday. the day where results came back. was just refreshing every other minute on the ride back LOL and tryna not to bust my data. unexpectedly my ship biz mod was an A-, and everything else went as expected? i think if i didn't have a mental boom during my tues afternoon paper my service process would have been an A bcuz my friend did slightly worse than me in finals but slightly better in project and class part and got A but i got A- so...yea fine margins ig its what it is. also i swear everytime im on the road in msia it rains. like doesnt matter what day it is it alw rains in the afternoon somewhere along the way. and also i swear the causeway route is actually quite fast its just the bridge itself is a nightmare...but the queue at the msia side is non-existent (yet my dad still always insists on taking the tuas route lmao...)

- steve, just brainrotting away!
