diary backlog (for the records)

this is what it feels like to be busy i guess. between watching league and lessons and cca's and friends, barely had any time to myself. and been so so tired to try and figure out a way to write down what happened since 23rd, thursday. 

22nd aug: i dont think softball ever had a training on thursday (morning)? but anyways at least there is a decent field even if it is all the way in jurong...freshies came (and omg this year got 1) so many girls and 2) a lot of exp ppl) and idk why but the best thing abt training is i think i FINALLY FOUND A FIX TO MY BATTING? something about bringing the bat all the way to the back of my head and facing slightly away from the pitcher so it makes the swing motion smoother for me and it doesnt feel like im forcing power into the ball and im just letting my body and arms turn into it (with more momentum). idk hope it is consistent and if it is then i can continue to build on that with maybe having an even smoother 'swinging process' and i can bat farther *prayge*

also found out that one of the freshie's mom is a tcher in hwachong high school side wtf and i rmb her teaching a few other classes before HAHAHAH what is this small ass world i swear...

and anyways met a fren at night for supper (after postponing for like 4 times) and she dragged another fren along (chill ppl yay) and even tho it was like a short meetup i think it was super fruitful to just catch up and just yap more HAHAH. oh and just so happens that fren is flying off for exchange today so...coincidence i guess LMAO

23rd aug: omg i swear shipping business class is so boring wtf. like the instructor is so dry and he is just reading off the slides and there is additional info that i can find through elearn which should be enuf?? i mean if it isnt i will just ask for further details from seniors ig...afterwards just stayed back in school for lunch and just chilled in library (75% slack 25% work) and then went for co at night. kinda boring day (relatively speaking)

24th aug: first smux biking exp! was kinda fun cycling from park connector to hdb (cos park connector isnt fully complete) to park connector again then to ecp (total was about 18km) and was q surprising to see 2 ppl fall down hard enuf that they had multiple wounds on their legs (which needed to be bandaged) but they were still able to walk and cycle so yea it was nth to serious slay! and afterwards ate with some of them and found out that one of the exchange students there from the US was in the same shipping class as me the day before (and we both agreed the prof was shit lmfao). and on a side note i realised i personally know 3 exco members...rly is a small world damnnn

went out drinking on sat night with a bunch of scis people...good to see that my tolerance right now is at least 8 shots LMAO even though i never drink for damn long already...the people were quite nice too AHHAHH j spilling tea, meeting new ppl, yapping w new ppl...and also clubbing even if the music in the second half was really terrible...but hey 13-month no club streak ended LOL (also maybe its just this batch of scis ppl but there r good ppl in scis lmfao) got some rly big tea that ppl broke up and also rly like the vibes too so big W i'd say...

oh and btw i am very surprised that i wasn't the one who puked on sat night but i knew that when i was in the bar/club i cld not take another full shot bcos whenever i jump i feel smth off in my digestive system HAHAHAHAH

25th aug: and so that means on sunday i just missed softball in the morning bcos i was so fking hungover. and i was so craving bak kut teh for lunch so i just got that (and ate 5 pork ribs) and ordered a luckin coffee. yes i am fat. 

26th aug: rot at home. oh wait, i finally started playing hogwarts legacy HAHAHA but damn theres a lot of side tasks to do i havent actually completed one day in the game yet because i have just been finding all the collectibles where i can and exploring the castle itself. then met the wingstop gang for dinner and just ate...wait for it...wingstop (duh u cld see that coming from a mile away). 

27th aug: go school for two lessons, nth big. not sure what else there was here i was just realllly tired. 

28th aug: honestly nth big happened also, just went school in the morning, went home, watched league, watched the fault in our stars, and finally listened to brat (charli xcx album). oh wellz. also more hogwarts legacy HAHAH. oh and my softball pres realised i was in maritime biz also and messaged me about it HAHAHAH honestly didnt expect it cuz i thought she wasnt that close (??) to me but hey! yay

in no particular order:  recre bball : i went once and never again. in my defence right, it was on tuesdays. on three tuesdays my corp sust product group wanted to have interviews with retailers, on one week mpsh was closed, and on one week it was cny. so i was only able to go once but skipped that one bcuz i was frankly a bit lazy AHAHHA. but the people there rly q competitive ngl...they all got exp and i was rly reminded of how unfit i was and how long i hadn't played basketball softball : wah the membership this sem drop A LOT SIA like 40%...idk why but lowk i think is cuz a lot of ppl grad and the open training was damn late? and also the payment felt later this year...idk ngl was also abit angst cuz trainings were only like once a week on average now instead of twice a week...but ig circumstances made it hard for that exco to have two trainings. ig its hard to accept but its smth that u have to swallow bcuz there isnt much alternative? i mean not that i blame the exco...its ju...

oops sorry stopped for two days because...i got really tired and had 4am football into a full day out with mala at night into today so...pardon the tardiness OKAY SO THURSDAY i think it was actly a p decent day started watching more league (again LOL) and also started to get back a BIT more into projects and work...i think there comes a point where i kinda have to start going to school to stay in the library tho...like i think with 1 case, 3 projects and 2 individual papers to complete over the next month i REALLY got to lock tf in so LIVE LAUGH LOVE (if i sound deranged i promise it isnt me im just hyping myself (and you! if u r reading) up to survive hell week wherever u may be reading from night class was kinda interesting so my prof (the french one who loves wine connection) had a guest speaker over to talk about warehousing and storage/transportation (essentially the focal point between middle mile and last mile) and wtf there's only roughly 5-10% of things in warehouses that...

bcuz this is so damn unhealthy grrr.... Q58: if I were told I only had 5 months to live, what would I do?  this is the kinda question u ask when u watch those emo movies like 'the fault in our stars'. and of course me being me i've dabbled in these thoughts before bcos u nvr know how things can change in the blink of an eye, at the snap of a couple fingers.  so i guess here they are:  1) go to old trafford (and allianz arena and/or signal iduna park on an actual matchday) 2) see the norway fjords 3) climb a mountain more than 1km tall 4) go to machu picchu 5) go see new zealand and australia 6) (if i haven't been to japan then) go to japan hopefully i can see the sakura 7) write letters to all my close friends 8) yknow the meme where they say "if i win the lottery, i won't say that i did it but there will be signs"? same for this i won't publicly say it but i'll be like matthew perry was and have all these cryptic messages that make it seem like so...
