tis the damn season, write this down

week of 8th december - i think that the part i was most looking forward to after finals was just not having that stress and going to school? i mean i WAS still pissed at osl because of whatever happened in chinese orchestra, but being able to just freely choose when to meet people, when to game, when to watch my shows, when to turn on the sports streams (that may or may not be legal) are very fundamental choices that really felt liberated once finals ended. and so i was just watching arcane and omg i swear the artwork is so good. also i love vi x caitlyn like one they are both pretty in their own ways and two they are so badass. gotta feel bad for heimerdinger tho... (not gonna say more in case i spoil) anyways on friday i went back to malaysia! also curated like a special playlist for the roadtrip back because i was not gonna settle listening to mid songs and/or my dad's playlist so i just mixed everything i thought was good (https://open.spotify.com/playlist/3b7r21C3CV0MqyDQoNIXp...

descensus (in insaniam)

and here comes the three weeks of finals (as i try to survive my ungodly stomach upsets that i have had the past couple of days recollecting my memories...) week of 17th november (week 14 of school) - the funny thing about study week is, once you find a spot on the first day u go to the library for the grind, u end up wanting to go back to that same spot for the grind. even if it is a little bit noisy, or a little bit distracting, u just end up wanting to go back there. and u realise that for more than half (maybe 2/3's) of the population, it is the same mindset. so the people i see everyday vary quite little LOL. and somehow or rather with smu being so small i end up seeing the same few people every time.  always sat at level 4 in the library facing the stairs/connexion. sometimes went to the study rooms that softball booked but realised no one used it because...we all have our own quirky spots in the library HAHAH/people just prefer to study at home/people just prefer to have the...

continuation

here we go again (gta style):  week of 3rd november (week 12 of school) - oh man this is when shit REALLY hits the ceiling... not gonna lie, i was already feeling very sian going for cca in the couple of weeks prior to this (whenever i did go bcuz obv 2nd nov i was at sentosa) bcuz i was aware that i had to balance my projects with cca (and the pieces for the smu25 recording were mostly pieces that had been played before), and also my own personal me-time doing things that i liked to do. but between trying to commit to cca and trying to balance my other stuff, i realised that i was slowly losing the feels of playing in cca. in the sense that i had zero motivation to be there and i was really there for the sake of it. so much so that my performance during practice was getting worse even though i was going for practices. and this is beyond my semi-common "over-practicing and becoming worse", but rather more of i just literally did not want to be there. every fiber of my being a...

resumption

i still remember in the previous post i said: "okay i will talk about my midterm stuff next week" and yet here we are after finals and im only talking about it NOW after another sem is said and done. so since there has been like 70 days that has passed since the previous entry im just gonna do weekly recaps until today (hopefully i have the time to do so and i don't have too much (doubt) to yap) anyways this is also the monthly promotion of kygo music because hes so good istg im listening to his albums typing this out week of 13th october (week 9 of school) - i honestly can't remember what happened on sunday (13th) after the jb shenanigans i just remember reachign home at 1am because lazy monday was too good and i was just stuffing myself up in burgers. the only notable thing i remember from this week was somehow getting 7/10 for my shipping business midterm quiz which was just a load of mcq qns and one of it required u to know where the fking kiel canal was and it wa...
